Maneki Neko Production, set up few years ago, is a cultural and creative group based in Jakarta, dedicated to building meaningful bridges between Indonesia and Japan through film, publishing, art exhibitions, coffees and cultural programs.

Founded with the spirit of collaboration and friendship, Maneki Neko Production believes that art is a universal language.

Our projects bring together the richness of Indonesian heritage—such as fine arts, batik, and keris (traditional daggers)—with contemporary storytelling and modern design. Through films, books, and exhibition events, we celebrate culture, creativity, business and human connection across borders.

Our work spans multiple creative fields:

Film Production:

We create cinematic experiences that highlight emotional storytelling and cultural values. From romantic comedies to documentaries and cultural films, we focus on stories that promote understanding, empathy, and cross-cultural exchange.
